I am happy to announce that we are offering some of my favorite images as custom prints. Consider giving one to yourself, or to a loved one, friend or colleague. These images are from South India and Vietnam - places near and dear to me, and where I have Signature Photo Workshops. I hope that you will enjoy these images as journeys to these magical places.

We are pleased to offer a limited number of custom prints. All prints are personally signed - Catherine Karnow. 8 x 10 and 11 x 14 prints are frame ready.

Vintage Ambassador Car and Palace, South India

There are the most remarkable palaces in the arid region of Chettinad in South India. They were built by wealthy traders in the early 1900s and are splendid in their faded glory. The Ambassador car is also a beloved icon.

Woman Ironing in her Shop, South India

I came across this jolly woman in Mysore. She had her own tiny laundry stall right on the street. Her iron was filled with hot coals, and weighed about 35lbs. She told me that she worked every day of the week and was immensely happy, because she was doing what she loved and earning a good income.

Fishing Boat Scenic, Halong Bay, Vietnam

Halong Bay, with its unusual rock formations, has long been the inspiration for Vietnamese poets and painters. In 1995, there were very few fishing boats like this left - a timeless scene you don't see anymore.

Little Girl at Pagoda, Hué, Vietnam

When I was scouting for my Vietnam-Cambodia workshop, I met this little girl at Tu Hieu temple in Hué. This is the pagoda where the venerable Thich Nhat Hanh first became a monk. To me, her smile represents the joyous wisdom that Thich Nhat Hanh teaches.
