Join us for September in Paris, surely the most beautiful city in the world, (definitely the most romantic!) at a lovely time of year, late summer.
Paris has such a special place in my heart, and in my lineage. My father lived in Paris for ten years and the stories he wrote for Life magazine in those days became a delightful book, Paris in the Fifties, with illustrations by my artist mother. As a young woman in Paris, my mother modeled for Chanel and Dior.
Myself, I have lived, worked and photographed there so many times, starting as a young intern at Magnum Photos when I was just seventeen. I studied the contact sheets of Cartier Bresson and met with Marc Riboud, a mentor to me in my own photography. Since then I have shot many assignments, including for National Geographic Traveler,as well as been a guest teacher on various photo workshops.
I am excited to add a new chapter in my Paris journey in the form of a brand new Photo Workshop, to be held September 2027.
As with all my workshops, I am developing experiences designed to allow us to have insider experiences and spend time with a variety of different kinds of people, as well as of course capture my favorite photogenic places in the city.
As always we will eat well, stay in a charming boutique hotel and have class projections and one-on-one private critiques.
This will be a workshop with 8 guests max. Tuition TBD.
This workshop is currently in development
