INTRODUCTION

I am beyond excited to announce that for my eight-night 2027 Provence & Riviera Retreat, we will now have our own luxury château hotel, Le Petit Château, with spacious private suites and the entire property to ourselves, right in the heart of Mons, the beautiful hilltop village where I live, in the wilder, lesser-known Var region of Provence.

An intimate retreat for just 6–8 guests.

Unlike my other offerings, this is not a Photo Workshop. This retreat is an invitation to experience the Provence I know and love - its world-renowned art, delicious cuisine, charming village life, beautiful countryside, and the people and places that are part of my life here. And of course, we'll play with photography!

Through my longtime connections in Provence, we’ll have special access to people, places and experiences you would not encounter on your own: private visits, personal experiences and time with artists, chefs, growers and friends.

Designed to nourish all the senses, this is a retreat for creativity and curiosity, beauty and well-being, slowing down and savoring, and the pleasure of sharing it all together.

And May brings the heavenly Roses de Mai, grown for some of the world's greatest perfumes.

DATES

May 12 - 20, 2027 | Eight nights

The retreat begins on the afternoon of May 12 and ends on the morning of May 20. The closest airport is Nice. Airport transfers can be arranged, including shared taxis.

• Delicious, healthy cuisine - meals prepared especially for our group by Fay and Louise, and a cooking class with gifted local chef Fabienne Sitri, whose imaginative cooking draws on local and foraged ingredients

• World-renowned art - we'll see and learn about the great artists of the region with our dynamic art expert, Michel Rémy

• Charming Provençal village life - markets, hilltop villages and visits with artist friends

• Bucolic spring countryside - we'll walk along my favorite mountain path, through meadows of wildflowers with views toward the Mediterranean

• Sailing on the turquoise Mediterranean - aboard our private boat, with a picnic lunch

• Gentle Yin yoga - a slow, restorative practice suitable for everyone, with our yoga teacher, Fay

• Restorative well-being - time to slow down and recharge, including a special sound-healing experience, with excellent massage and Reiki treatments also available by appointment

• The Roses de Mai - we'll join the traditional Rose Festival and, if our dates coincide with the brief harvest, have special access to the growers who cultivate these celebrated roses for Chanel and Dior

This intimate luxury château hotel has just five sophisticated, individually designed suites, each with its own character.

All suites have a large European king bed (approximately 6 × 7 ft) or two twin beds, a private bathroom, full kitchen and living room, and views over the village and surrounding landscape.

The bedroom is partially open to the living room, with a privacy wall but no door. Generous private bathroom with two sinks, bathtub and rain shower. Perfect for a single guest or couple.
