On this day in Italy, on our Umbria Photo Workshop, we would have been up before dawn and out on the lake with our fishermen friends. They have been fishing this lake their entire lives, and their families and ancestors before them, for centuries. For us, this would have been our ninth year. It is always special - the same and also different year to year. What gets stronger is our friendship. Nothing can take the place of just time - all these many sweet years. How I love this day.
